4-H DOG CLUB
Henry County 4-H Dog Club will kick off our first meeting on Monday, August 26 6pm-7:30pm
Ages 4th-12th
$30 membership dues for the year. This helps us cover activities, t-shirts and dinner (when it is not being sponsored)
Kids are not required to have a dog to join our club. In fact, half of our club is made up of children not owning a dog.
Some families join our club to learn about their responsibility of pet ownership prior to adopting a dog
Text 770-231-9784 if you plan on attending Aug 26.
We always are looking for $30 sponsorships to cover a child’s membership
We have guest speakers visit through out the year to teach our students about canine careers. This year we will have a dog trainer, veterinarian, groomer, rescue organization director, and a K9 demo from law enforcement. We will participate in community service activities and collect supplies for animal organizations.
I provide two activities for students to bring their dogs. We have a Howl-O-Weenie Costume Contest for humans and dogs in October and a big birthday bash in May. It is Pawstabulous!
We do require that your pup be at least 4 months old, up to date on vaccines, and social with other dogs and children.
We look forward to seeing you
Our August meal is sponsored by River & Roost so please RSVP if you are planning to attend.
We will be tie dying our shirts and going over the year calendar.
